Teri
received her Bachelor of Science in Education
from the University of Oklahoma and is State Certified in special
education, learning disabilities, mental retardation and autism. She has
direct practice experience in working with American Indian Head Start
programs. She is skilled in helping others understand the social and
emotional developmental steps and uses practical applications of how
disabilities or environmental factors can affect the development of young
children. She is effective in teaching the steps of language and literacy
development, coupled with the ability to mentor teaching staff in planning
for learning activities for children with a wide range of abilities. Teri
has strong experience in working with children with diverse needs,
experience with children and programs of various cultures and beliefs.
She enjoys spending her free time with family, friends and
dog (Boomer). She has a niece and three nephews she enjoys spoiling. She
also likes playing softball, shopping and scrapbooking.
